Bringing Your Event Dreams to Life
At Event Resource Group, we bring the same operational discipline to wedding production that we apply to large corporate and live event work. Based in Tampa and serving couples, planners, and venues throughout Florida, we provide complete audio-visual production for weddings at beachfront resorts, garden estates, hotel ballrooms, historic venues, and outdoor pavilions across the state.
Wedding production carries a different kind of weight than most events. The timeline is fixed, the emotional stakes are high, and every technical element needs to work the first time. A mic that cuts out during the vows or a music cue that fires at the wrong moment is not something you recover from on the day. We plan for those scenarios in advance so they do not happen.
Our service covers ceremony sound reinforcement, wireless microphone packages for officiants and vows, reception audio, dance floor systems, uplighting and ambient lighting, LED display, and full on-site technical support throughout the event.
Why Florida Couples and Planners Trust Our Wedding AV Production
Wedding production across Florida’s diverse venue landscape requires a level of sensitivity and logistical awareness that goes beyond standard event work.
Outdoor ceremonies at beachfront and garden properties across the Gulf Coast and South Florida present specific audio challenges. Ocean and bay breezes affect how sound travels across open-air ceremony sites, and speaker placement needs to account for wind direction and ambient noise rather than simply pointing toward the audience. Many resort and estate venues across Palm Beach, Collier, and Orange counties operate under strict noise ordinances and hard sound curfews that shape how reception systems are designed and how volume is managed through the evening. Transitions between outdoor ceremonies and indoor receptions, common across Florida’s resort properties, require fast, coordinated system changes within a tight window that the wedding timeline does not flex around. Setup access at luxury resort properties is often restricted to specific hours, and the production crew needs to work efficiently within those windows without disrupting other guests or events running in the venue simultaneously.
Event Resource Group has been delivering professional AV production for weddings and celebration events throughout Florida for more than two decades. Our work spans beachfront resort ceremonies, ballroom receptions, outdoor estate weddings, destination celebrations, and intimate private events across Hillsborough, Orange, Palm Beach, and Collier counties, as well as venues along both Florida coasts and throughout the Central Florida corridor.
Florida is one of the country’s most active destination wedding markets. The combination of year-round favorable weather, world-class resort properties, and the sheer variety of venue types attracts couples from across the country and internationally. That market depth means the production standard expected at Florida weddings is genuinely high, and planners and venues have clear expectations around what professional AV support looks like.
We have worked alongside wedding planners, venue coordinators, florists, photographers, and catering teams across hundreds of Florida weddings, and that experience shapes how we operate on the day. We know how to work within a coordinator’s timeline, how to communicate changes without creating stress, and how to solve technical problems quietly so the couple and their guests never know anything needed fixing. That kind of operational awareness does not come from equipment alone. It comes from doing this work, repeatedly, across the full range of what Florida’s wedding market produces.

A standard wedding package covers ceremony sound reinforcement with wireless microphones for the officiant and couple, reception audio for cocktail hour and dinner, a dance floor speaker system, and uplighting for the reception space. LED display, monogram projection, slideshow systems, and additional lighting design are available as additions depending on the venue and the couple’s vision.
Yes, we can. Transitions between outdoor ceremony setups and indoor reception systems are something we plan and coordinate as part of the production schedule. The transition window is confirmed with the coordinator in advance so the changeover happens cleanly within the timeline.
Definitely. Many Florida venues, particularly resort and waterfront properties, operate under strict noise ordinances or have hard curfew times for amplified sound. We confirm those restrictions with the venue before the event and design the system and volume management approach around them.
Both options are available. For weddings with live ceremony audio, a full reception program, and lighting transitions through the evening, having our crew present throughout is the right call and what most couples choose. Equipment-only rental is available for couples with their own technical support in place.
For peak season dates, particularly spring and fall in Florida when the venue calendar fills up quickly, booking four to six months out is advisable. Summer and off-peak dates can sometimes be accommodated with less lead time. Earlier contact always gives the most flexibility around crew scheduling and equipment configuration.
